The space is totally free of charge to use. All we ask is you place a donation into our charity pot for MIND the Mental Health charity. Tea & Coffee is available and we ask for a nominal donation of 50p per cup when you are using the lounge facility. (If you don’t mind, we also kindly ask that you wash up your cup at the end of your session).
Refreshments are available for free and are included in your visit when you attend any of our classes.
Bring your knitting, crochet or hand sewing project and enjoy some peace and quiet. You are welcome to use our swift and ball winder too if you have yarn that requires caking up.
There is no need to book a space, simply turn up. Should we find the lounge is getting full to capacity we may need to bring in a booking system in the future, but for now let’s see how it goes.
The lounge is usually open for use during the following hours every week:
Wednesday 9.30am – 4.30pm | Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm | Saturday 9.30am – 4.30pm
These hours are accurate UNLESS different dates/times are posted below due to holidays or staff shortages.
DUE TO THE CURRENT CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK BTHQ IS OPEN ONLY FOR CLASSES AND AS SUCH USE OF THE LOUNGE ON A DROP IN BASIS IS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED
