Stained glass elephant sun catcher

Description

This class is aimed at improver level – that is people who have attended one of Carol’s beginners classes or have some previous experience of glasswork. (It may be possible to include a small number of beginners in each class – please message Claire before booking to check). You will choose your stained glass, then copper foil, construct, solder and add wirework to create a beautiful piece of glass art. This workshop includes reminders and more advanced exercises in glass cutting and all equipment and materials are included, just bring a packed lunch. (It is possible to make this design in a single colour if preferred but please request this at the time of booking.)

This is a small workshop and is limited to just 4 places.

What to wear: Ideally ‘studio’ clothes i.e. not your best, closed in shoes (no open toes) and no fluffy jumpers. It is recommended to wear full length or three quarter length sleeves too. Aprons and safety equipment will be provided.
