Spend the day with your fellow sewing chums, hanging out in the comfort of BTHQ. With a top-of-the-range machine, tools and cutting space at your disposal all day long.
Perhaps there is one project that is causing you concern and you’d rather sew it knowing you have Claire on hand to help you?
Maybe you are preparing for a craft fair and want to batch make a few items to sell or making gifts to stock up your present drawer?
Either way, this is a day dedicated entirely to you and your sewing! Who doesn’t like the sound of that?
This class is suitable for anyone over the age of 13 who has experience of using a sewing machine. (13 – 15-year-olds must be accompanied by a paying adult)
If you have questions or are stuck then you can ask for Claire’s help and we can also share our tips and tricks with one another.
What should you prepare?
You are free to work on any projects you wish. Obviously, Claire cannot guarantee she will be able to help you if it’s something she hasn’t made herself, but she will do her best. Please note though that this is not a class and no ‘offical tuition’ is available, just a guiding hand if you should need it.
You are advised to pull together all the materials for the projects you want to make. If you are able to and are working on a larger project, potentially cut it out before the day as there will be space but potentially a smaller area than you will need. You can cut out during the day too, it is of course up to you. You will need a packed lunch and suitable sewing snacks. Tea and Coffee will be available all day.
If this day sounds like lots of fun then please book your ticket today as spaces are limited to 6.
