Sew Beautiful Things Sewing Club members ONLY
Spend the entire weekend with your fellow club members, hanging out online as we LIVESTREAM the whole weekend!! There is also a limited number of in-person tickets available should you wish to sew in the comfort of BTHQ.
The entire event will take place via ZOOM with you sewing at home in the comfort of your own crafty corners (unless you are one of the 4 in person pupils). We will be livestreaming from BTHQ throughout the day.
Perhaps there is one project that is causing you concern and you’d rather sew it knowing you have Claire on hand to help you?
Maybe you are preparing for Christmas or a craft fair and want to batch make a few items to sell or gift?
Either way, this is a weekend dedicated entirely to you and your sewing! Who doesn’t like the sound of that?
We will be live streaming the whole weekend and you will be invited to join us virtually from your iPad, computer or internet-capable device. If you have questions or are stuck then you can ask for Claire’s help and we can also share our tips and tricks with one another.
As you are joining online, you can dip in and out. Come for 1 day, 2 days, 1/2 a day however the mood takes you. Your virtual ticket gives you access for the entire time the in-person event is running so make of it what you will.
What should you prepare?
You are free to work on any Sewing Club projects you wish to work on and any projects that are Beautiful Things courses or tutorials. Obviously you can work on whatever you please, but support will only be available on BTHQ items. You are advised to pull together all the materials for the projects you want to make. If you are able to and are working on a larger project, potentially cut it out before the weekend. You can cut out during the weekend too, it is of course up to you. You will obviously need your sewing machine, access to an iron and of course suitable snacks!
If you are joining us in person, a cutting space, sewing machine, iron, and tools that are sanitised and prepared for you are available for use. We do ask that at all times while you are not seated and situated in your ‘pod’ that a suitable face covering is worn.
If this weekend sounds like lots of fun but you are not a member of the club then it’s not too late to join. Simply click HERE to find out more. Whilst you won’t be able to attend this weekend we will have another 4 events in 2021 once the new term starts.
