Description
Join Claire and sew yourself a lovely notebook cover. During the course Claire will share lots of tips and tricks as to how you can embellish these even further and make them into works of art when you make your next one. Believe me you will do as they are truly addictive and so enjoyable to make.
You will create your own collage style fabric from your scraps which you could also use to make purses, bags and all sorts of other items at a later date. It’s a wonderful technique with endless possibilities.
You will need:
1/4 metre of lightweight iron-on interfacing *You can buy this HERE
1/4 metre of mediumweight/stiff iron-on interfacing *You can buy this HERE
Scraps of fabric. The little strings that you would usually throw away and pretty selvedge edges are ideal, but if you don’t have these then you can cut smaller sections from any scrap fabric you may have to hand. (Ideally quilting cotton and fabrics all of the same weight).
1 hardback notebook, preferably A5 in size or similar. (You need to be able to bend the spine back on itself a little way).
