This fabulous backpack with drawstrings and eyelets is a great beginner project perfect for children eager to learn to sew.
Learn how to cut, sew and construct this useful bag.
This is a scaled-down version of our adults class but the session does include access to our step by step video tutorial to walk you through every stage once you get home. Written instructions and access to help and support should you need it from our friendly team of tutors in our facebook group.
Parent and child sessions are designed to allow the child to receive sewing or craft tuition under the parent or carers* supervision.
There will be elements of the project where you will work together to cut out or draw round templates etc, giving you not only valuable bonding time but the opportunity to utilise your own individual strengths. Recommended age is 7+ however you know your child better than us. Consider their attention span when booking classes as some are longer than others!
The class fee is per parent/child paring (parent goes free in effect). If you have 2 children you are welcome to book 2 slots and supervise both.
