Parent and child sessions are designed to allow the child to receive sewing or craft tuition under the parent or carers* supervision.
There will be elements of the project where you will work together to cut out or draw round templates etc, giving you not only valuable bonding time but the opportunity to utilise your own individual strengths. Recommended age is 7+ however you know your child better than us. Consider their attention span when booking classes as some are longer than others!
The class fee is per parent/child paring (parent goes free in effect). If you have 2 children you are welcome to book 2 slots and supervise both.
You will need 3 x separate pieces of material each a different colour or pattern. We suggest purchasing quarter metres of 100% cotton fabric (we will make 6 penants/2 of each pattern) All other materials are provided. A bundle of fat quarters from hobbycraft or online will be perfect and you will have plenty left over for another project. (If you don’t know what a fat quarter is hopefully this short little video will help you https://www.facebook.com/BeautifulThingsClasses/videos/1649295148426635)
* carer = any responsible adult aged 16+
