Description

This course is suitable for those of you who can create a granny square with good tension, have a good knowledge and practical skill of double and treble crochet and can understand basic ‘pattern speak’.

You will be required to make 8 x 4 round granny squares in advance of the course to join up during (all ends must have been darned in prior to commencement).

We recommend you use Claire’s simple granny square pattern to do this.

The complete course content will be available in your learning portal (please note it is listed as weekly as it was originally designed as an e-course that came out in weekly emails)

Week 1 – Slip stitch & double crochet joins.  Week 2 – Join as you go.  Week 3 – Lace edging. Week 4 – Scallop borders.  The course content is all via video and you will receive links to written instructions as well.

Access to the course does not expire so you can come back and refer to the methods whenever you need a refresher.

Sign up now and make a start on those squares.

Really useful and enjoyable next step course! The videos and links were very helpful and relaxing and answered my question of what can I do now with my huge pile of granny squares?!

I really enjoyed the lessons especially being able to do them in my own time and in the comfort of my own home. The instructions were simple and straight forward. On one of the lessons, I had a problem with the link but to my surprise and delight, Claire responded within minutes to resolve it so no time was wasted and I was able to progress with the lesson.

Loved this course, it helped me understand and master several techniques for joining granny squares and different styles of border. As always, the lessons were really easy to follow, it feels like Claire is right there beside you, and if you have any questions she’s always quick to respond and super helpful. Highly recommended.
