Description
This is a replay video of a previous ZOOM class. Kits are no longer available but we recommend 3 balls of Stylecraft cabaret to complete the shawl.
Whilst the class is an entry-level crochet project you will need to be able to chain and create the UK treble stitch using DK weight yarn. Various hook sizes will be required to gain the correct tension and measurements so we advise you have a 4mm, 4.5mm and 5mm crochet hook to hand. If you are a super tight crocheter you may need a 6mm too.
There are 3 available colours of yarn that we can send you as a kit (pictured) but they are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The colours are as follows:
Rainbow (as shown in Claires finished shawl)
Turtle dove (dusky pink, cream, black and grey)
Underwater Rainbow (muted rainbow)
When you check out, please copy and paste these colours into the comments box and re-order them in order of your preferred colour (top to bottom). We will do our best to meet your chosen colours but cannot guarantee this.
A copy of the pattern will be provided via email a couple of days in advance of the class so that you can print this off to follow should you wish, but we ask that you DO NOT make a start on the project until the class date as we need to ensure we are all gaining the required tensions and sizes to allow for the shawl to drape properly.
As the wool is very loosely wound we do advise you rewind the balls either by hand or using a yarn winder to gain a tighter ball and stop the ball falling apart while you are working.

Claire is a brilliant and very patient tutor. I have done a few of her classes now and really enjoy them.
