We are not going to let COVID stop us this Christmas. Our wreath making classes with the lovely Julie from the Flower Shed florist have become a tradition and I know many of you like to return year on year to make your festive wreaths.
Julie and I have come up with a 3 step plan that will tackle all that COVID can throw at us and are determined to make these sessions happen no matter what!
Taking place in early December just in time to hang on your doors. Come and make your own beautiful door wreath from fresh foliage that will last right through the Christmas period.
All materials are included and you will go home with a completed wreath ready to hang up as soon as you get home along with the skills to do it again next year!
In line with our COVID secure venue policy places are limited to 6 on each session, so places will go fast so we suggest you book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
All pupils will be placed at their own workstation 2 metres apart from their fellow classmates. Face coverings will be required to be worn when moving around the building or coming into close contact with your tutor.
In the event of a change to COVID guidelines here are our plans:
Situation a) – We come out of lockdown on the 2nd December and are allowed to re-open for classes, we will operate as above
Situation b) – We are allowed to open but your tutor is unable to attend the venue due to tier 3 guidelines in her home town or a need to isolate, we will still host the class here at BTHQ and beam the lovely Julie in on our big screen TV via zoom
Situation c) – We remain in lockdown and are unable to open BTHQ. Julie will provide kits which can be collected from BTHQ and your class will take place at the same time and on the same date but via ZOOM
