Our gorgeous quilting cottons are all 60" wide instead of the normal 45" so they are also great for a spot of dressmaking.

We are open 3 days a week for in person shopping (Wed, Fri & Sat) or you can order for us to post.

#mrwonky update. We went to Pets at Home today to pick up the essentials for his arrival at Chez Mack tomorrow evening.

He will certainly be getting spoilt in his final years!

This Thursday 16th July marks the FINAL Virtual Craft club of lockdown.

We have been running for 16 weeks bringing all of our regular BTHQ crafters and others from further afield together for an hour and a half of creative chat.

Now that measures have been relaxed in the UK and BTHQ is back open for business, I hope to see those of you who are local in attendance either at BTHQ Alfresco on a Wed, Fri or Sat or at a class in person.

Those of you who live further away, we will still be running ad-hoc zoom sessions and we hope to see you in those.

Sadly now that I, (Claire) am needed in person at the studio, I am no longer able to share my 'day off' (Thursday) with you online.

I am grateful to all of you who have spent time being creative online during this time and thank you for keeping the BTHQ spirit alive.

I don't like this announcement, but we had a great class yesterday and everyone wore coverings (out of choice).

We had a lovely day and it was really good fun.

I think it's inevitable we will have a change in government guidance later this week so for the foreseeable future, this is out policy on face coverings/masks.

Fear not, there will be plenty of time to 'get air' during a class so you won't be restrained for too long at a time!

Fabulous Yarn dyeing workshop with @craftyheffalumpus and we all went home with a skien of sockyarn, a painted sock blank and a set of 5 graduated mini skeins!!!
