Autumn is fast approaching and very soon the run up to Christmas will be upon us.
It’s very important to focus on our own selves during this time to maintain a good level of physical and mental health.
I personally find spending a little bit of time each day working on something creative is a great way to wind down and give myself some of that valuable #metime that I crave and deserve after a hard days work, but there are so many other ways of making sure you keep up a good level of #selfcare.
Take a nice hot bath, go for a walk, go for a coffee with a friend, book a hair appointment, play on the swings in the park, treat yourself to a sticky bun! Curl up with a magazine and a steaming cup of hot chocolate or buy some champagne instead of wine one weekend.
Whatever you do, be sure to include a small amount of time each day to focus on you.
I want to help you start getting into the habit of #selfcare and #metime so I am going to be running a 7 day challenge on Facebook and Instagram starting on Monday 16th October.
You need to take a picture of your #metimemoment and tag in either my personal profile on facebook (I’m Claire Mackaness and wearing a stripy jumper) or tag me on instagram (I’m @artyfartymack) using the hashtag #beautifulmetime each day (at any point) for 7 days. Post on one of both platforms the choice is yours.
